The Indian Himalayas ~ A Sacred Pilgrimage for Women
All Images above have been captured in the locations we’ll hike to on this Pilgrimage
This is more than a journey. It is a sacred pilgrimage. A journey into the heart of the Indian Himalayas, where ancient wisdom, devotion and spiritual tradition have been woven into the landscape for thousands of years.
The Himalayas have long been regarded as a place of pilgrimage. A place where seekers, sages and saints have journeyed in search of truth, connection and something greater than themselves. There is a presence in these mountains that is difficult to put into words. A stillness. A sacredness. A remembering.
To walk these lands is to be invited into a deeper relationship with yourself, with nature and with the sacred. This pilgrimage is an invitation to slow down, to listen, to reconnect and to experience India in a way that reaches far beyond what can be seen.
A return to ourselves. A return to the land. A return to the sacred.
This pilgrimage has been thoughtfully crafted to offer a deeply immersive experience of the Indian Himalayas. Guided throughout, you'll be invited to fully engage with the practices, sacred sites, mountain villages and landscapes we encounter, allowing you to be present with the journey every step of the way.
❋ A Held & Intentional JourneyEach day is anchored in practices such as yoga, meditation and ceremony, creating a steady rhythm that allows you to soften, open and connect more deeply with yourself. As we hike through the Indian Himalayas, visiting temples, villages and sacred lands, these practices invite you to experience the pilgrimage with greater presence and intention.
❋Sacred Practice & Daily RhythmThere is a unique energy that forms when women come together in sacred places. Held by the land and supported by each other, something begins to open ~ a deeper sense of connection, presence and shared experience, that is difficult to access in every day life.
❋ Shared energy & Sacred ConnectionThis is not a typical retreat, nor is it a tour. It is a sacred pilgrimage ~ a journey into the heart of the Indian Himalayas, where ancient wisdom, sacred landscapes and meaningful experiences invite a deeper connection to life, yourself and the sacred.
❋ An Experience Beyond the OrdinaryWhy Pilgrimage?
There is something powerful that happens when you remove yourself from your normal environment.
When you step out of routine…
out of responsibility…. out of roles you carry…
out of the familiar…
You begin to hear yourself more clearly.
Surrounded by sacred land, daily practice, sacred sites and women walking a similar path, something begins to open
This is not something that can be explained. It is something that can only be felt.
Why I guide this work
This is something I’ve experienced firsthand through years of pilgrimage, practice and returning again and again to sacred places across the world.
My path with yoga and spiritual practice began over twenty years ago and has unfolded through both formal study and lived experience. I’ve trained in Hatha yoga, Kundalini yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, trauma-informed practices, reiki, sound healing, cacao facilitation, ecstatic dance djing, spiritual life coaching and spent years immersed in ceremony, ritual and spiritual study ~ much of it rooted in India and other sacred lands.
But more than anything, this has been a path of actually living it. Of being in it. And of breathing it, again and again.
From early travels that awakened something in me, to over a decade of deep immersion in India~ my spiritual home ~ ashram life and ongoing study, to finally making the decision to move to India, this work has been shaped by my lived experience. I spent years living, Snow Boarding and hiking the Rocky Mountains and Sierra Nevada in USA, The French Alps and Hiking the Himalayas in both Nepal & India. So when Kuldeep approached me to collaborate on this particular Pilgrimage it was a no-brainer!
And along the way, I’ve come to understand ~ many women feel a deep call to travel to places like India, but don’t always feel drawn to do it alone.
There is something powerful about being held in a shared journey. Moving through sacred places together. Feeling supported in unfamiliar spaces. Being part of a circle of women walking a similar path.
It is from this lived experience that I now guide these pilgrimages.
Pilgrimage is an experience that will literally change your life. Trust me, I know it first hand many times over.
Kuldeep ~ Our Guide
Kuldeep’s connection to the Himalayas began during a time in his life when he was searching for direction. His journey led him to Tungnath, one of the highest Shiva temples in the world - a place that quietly shifted the way he saw life and yoga.
Since then, the mountains have remained an essential part of his path. Today, Kuldeep shares this experience with others ~ not as a tour, but as a way to step out of the usual environment and reconnect with something more essential. With years of teaching experience and a grounded, calm presence, he guides both the practice and the journey with clarity, care, and deep respect for the places you visit.
For him, the Himalayas are not a destination, but a space to return to.
Step beyond the familiar and into the sacred landscapes of the Birthplace of Yoga, Rishikesh and the Indian Himalayas. Through yoga, meditation, ceremony and pilgrimage, you'll journey through ancient lands rich in devotion, wisdom and tradition. As we walk mountain paths, visit sacred temples, feel the energy of Ma ganga and connect with the living spirit of these lands, you'll be invited into a deeper connection with yourself and with life. Held within a circle of women, you'll return home renewed, inspired and transformed by the journey.
The Experience
We begin our journey in the birthplace of yoga, Rishikesh, where we spend the first three nights in a peaceful ashram nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas. A sacred town and the birthplace of Yoga, resting on the banks of Ma Ganga. Rishikesh has drawn seekers, yogis and pilgrims for centuries. This part of the journey is about grounding. Settling into the rhythm of ashram life. Connecting through yoga, meditation, ceremony and sacred practice.Preparing body, mind and spirit before we journey deeper into the Himalayas. We'll visit the sacred town of Devprayag, where two Himalayan rivers unite to become Ma Ganga (The Ganges). We'll also visit the revered Dhaari Devi Temple, where the Divine Feminine is worshipped as a powerful manifestation of Goddess Kali, before continuing deeper into the mountains.
Over the coming days, we hike through some of the Indian Himalayas' most breathtaking landscapes, journeying to places of deep spiritual significance including Kartik Swami Temple and Tungnath Temple- the highest Shiva temple in the world. As well as hiking to Mountain Peaks and through Mountain villages.
Each day is woven together with yoga, hiking, moments of stillness, days immersed in nature and space to simply be. We'll gather in ceremony over the Full Moon, honouring all that's unfolded and all that's ready to emerge.
This part of the pilgrimage is about walking with presence. Step by step, we slow down, reconnect with nature and ourselves and allow the mountains to guide us home.

INVESTMENT: Twin Room : US$333 Private Room: US$444Preparing for the Journey
This pilgrimage invites us to journey on foot through the breathtaking Indian Himalayas, walking ancient pilgrimage paths and immersing ourselves in the mountains each day.
The highest altitude we will reach is approximately 3,690 metres, with most days of hiking (3 in total) involving around 6 km of hiking. One day offers the option to continue to the highest peak, extending the hike to approximately 10 km, depending on the group's pace and desire.
All hikes and activities are always optional, and you are welcome to honour your own body and choose what feels right for you.
However, to fully experience everything this pilgrimage has to offer, I recommend arriving with a good level of physical fitness. Preparing your body in the months leading up to our journey will allow you to immerse yourself more comfortably in the hiking, embrace the altitude, and receive the fullest experience of this sacred adventure.
I encourage regular walking, hiking and strength training in the lead-up to the pilgrimage so you feel confident, supported and ready to enjoy every step of the journey.
What This Journey Offers
This pilgrimage has been thoughtfully created through a collaboration between my own years of experience living, studying and guiding in India, and the local knowledge of our experienced Himalayan guide, Kuldeep.
Together, we'll weave a journey that blends sacred practice, ceremony, ancient pilgrimage routes and the breathtaking beauty of the Indian Himalayas.
This is not simply a hiking adventure, a Yoga Retreat or a sightseeing tour. This is a Sacred Pilgrimage.
It’s an invitation to walk ancient pilgrimage paths, visit revered temples, immerse yourself in daily yoga and ceremony, and experience the Himalayas with presence, reverence and the guidance of those who know them deeply.
My intention is that you leave this journey with...
A deeper connection to your body, your heart and your inner wisdom.
A renewed relationship with your spiritual path and your own capacity to trust it.
A lived experience of the sacredness of the Indian Himalayas and the ancient pilgrimage traditions they hold.
Greater clarity, resilience and a quiet confidence born from walking your own path.
Lifelong friendships and memories shared with women walking beside you.
And something within you awakened... something ancient, something true, a new found sense of awe in the magic of life and inspiration that continues to guide you long after you return home.
A shared experience
There’s something deeply powerful about walking this path alongside other women. I know because I have both witnessed and experienced it myself guiding pilgrimages and holding space, and being a participant on a Women’s Pilgrimage and retreats. Being held in the collective, being seen, and sharing it all with a circle of Women.
This is a small, intimate group to allow for depth, connection, and transformation.
